About Me

A woman in a pink sweater and blue jeans standing barefoot on the sand at the edge of the ocean, with her arms outstretched and smiling. The ocean waves are gently rolling in, and the sky is partly cloudy.

My love of helping people attain and rediscover restorative sleep stemmed from my own profound struggles with insomnia. In my early 40’s and for the first time in my life, I developed insomnia. I saw a sleep specialist, spoke to sleep professionals, did my research on sleep, but with no clear answers or understanding, I reluctantly started sleep medication. I felt alone and exhausted. No one, however, ever mentioned that my hormones were an issue or that I was unknowingly muddling through perimenopause and that my estrogen levels had plummeted. Now, being on the other side of menopause, I am on a mission to help people find answers and uncover the root cause of their sleeplessness. Recognizing that insomnia often stems from multiple interconnected causes, I devoted a year to studying the Holistic Science of Sleep ™ to do a deeper dive into less apparent but very much still relevant causes of insomnia. I draw on a diverse clinical background that includes experience as a social worker in multiple hospital and academic medical centers, as well as facilitating health coaching, group meditation, exercise challenges, nutritional coaching and sleep coaching for hotel employees. The combination of both has expanded my perspective beyond traditional clinical care, allowing me to promote wellness, behavior change, and preventive health in the workplace. Together, these experiences have given me a broad and well-rounded foundation in healthcare, enabling me to connect with individuals across a variety of settings and stages of their health journey.

Today, I support individuals experiencing insomnia, sleep disturbances, sleep disorders, anxiety, stress, and burnout in reclaiming restorative sleep and rebuilding both emotional and physical resilience. My approach combines clinical expertise with integrative, whole-person strategies that address the interconnected factors influencing health and well-being.
